This standard specifies the mechanical-dynamic transportation loads that can occur during the transportation of goods with the various types of transportation and handling. In the form of a data collection, it serves as the basis for further, application-related standards, for example for the design and testing of packaging or the goods to be transported. It can also be used as a basis for logistical planning. This standard deals with transportation loads which can occur if transports are carried out properly. The consequences of improper handling, an accident or the use of a defective means of transportation are not covered by this standard. This standard does not contain any information on the effects of transportation loads on transported goods, since such effects are determined by the type and sensitivity of the transported goods. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 115-01-04 AA "Anforderungen und Prüfung" ("Requirements and test") at DIN Standards Committee Packaging (NAVp). It is part of a concept for recording and describing loads that occur during the transportation, handling and storage of goods and which can act on them.
