DIN 28017-1:2014-06

This standard applies for the configuration and construction of platforms on stationary accesses to process apparatus. As a rule they are walked on during controlling and maintenance work of these apparatus. Applicability shall be tested for enamelled, lined or coated apparatus as well as apparatus made of non-ferrous metals or plastics. The standard is applicable for platform constructions taking the calculation of a platform width of 1 000 mm with the following imposed loads as the basis: - uniformly distributed load of 2 kN/m² - concentrated load of 3 kN. DIN EN ISO 14122-2 is applicable for platforms on machinery installations. In comparison to DIN 28017-1:2012-04, the following changes have been implemented: a) based on the draft amendment E DIN 28017-1/A1:2013-03, Figure 8a) and Figure 8b) have been modified.
