This standard applies to the rope end fitting in insert roller bearings for guide ropes up to 36 mm nominal diameter, which can absorb different tension forces up to 125 kN. Insert bearings are mainly used for securing guide ropes during shaft sinking and essentially consist of rope end fittings, cross beams, longitudinal beams and sliding bolts.
The standard differs from DIN 21194:1999-12 as follows:
a) normative references have been updated; b) the figures have been updated; c) editorially revised.
This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-51-10 AA "Schachtbau" ("Shaft sinking") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
This document replaces DIN 21194:1999-12 .
