This standard specifies how the information from the CE marking is to be used in relation to the technical rules for the planning, dimensioning and construction of structures and their parts. It contains conversion rules with which the rated values applicable for use in Germany are calculated from the declared values of the harmonized European product standard, and provides rules for the assignment or classification of declared values in levels and classes which shall be observed for the application.
