This standard applies in conjunction with DIN EN 124 and DIN 1229 for frames of the classes C 250 and D 400 and for curve type gratings of class C 250 with an edge length of 500 mm × 500 mm for road gullies. It contains specifications on the dimensions of particulars, on materials and marking. For design and test requirements and classification reference is made to DIN EN 124. DIN 19571-1 contains a summary of gully tops 500 mm × 500 mm of class C 250.
