This standard applies to the flow measurement of fluids (liquids, gases, vapors) in closed conduits with throttle devices according to DIN EN ISO 5167 Parts 1 to 4 as differential pressure transducers (differential pressure method). It describes measurement and mounting arrangements and provides information on their construction regulations and maintenance. Compared to the previous edition, the content has been adapted to the amended current standards and the amended installation conditions in practice, and additional tables have been included.
