DIN 18550-2:2015-06

This standard contains supplementary specifications and recommendations to DIN EN 13914-2:2016-09 and only applies in conjunction with this standard. This standard has the same scope of application as DIN EN 13914-2:2016-09. It also applies to the use of plasters according to DIN EN 998-1 and DIN EN 15824 on walls and ceilings of buildings which comply with the applicable standards, in particular DIN EN 1992-1-1, DIN EN 1996, DIN 4103-1 and DIN 4213, and can also be applied analogously to similar plaster bases, for example for old buildings. Surface treatments of components, such as primed topping and regulating courses, roughcast, lime wash, slurry plaster, daub, rendering and as well as impregnations and coatings are not plasters within the meaning of this standard. Surface claddings made of prefabricated parts, such as gypsum plasterboard, are not covered by this standard.
