This standard specifies dimensions and applies to all types of window handles for tilt & turn, tilt-first and turn only hardware for use on windows and balcony doors made of wood, aluminium, plastic and composite profiles. Window handles according to this standard are tailored to the requirements of DIN EN 14351-1 and DIN EN 13126-8. This standard does not apply to handles for lift-slide, lift and slide and tilt or parallel slide-tilt elements. This standard does not apply to geared handles where a connector or fork acts as a connecting element to the window hardware.
