DIN 16868-1:2016-10

This standard applies to continuously wound pipes with specified pipe outside or pipe inside diameter, type WA, made of glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP) based on unsaturated polyester resins (UP resin). Pipes according to this standard are characterized by a wall structure according to 4.3 of DIN 16868-2:2016-09 and by the manufacturing process. Pipes according to this standard shall comply with the requirements of DIN 16868-2. It is pointed out that European product standards exist for special areas of application, which shall be observed. A number of these European product standards have been included in the references for information purposes. Since the European standards are subject to constant revision, no guarantee can be given for the completeness of this list.
