This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 149-00-06 AA "Einrichtungen und Arbeitsmittel" ("Equipment and working materials") at the Entertainment Technology, Photography and Cinematography Standards Committee within DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V. Representatives of Deutsche gesetzliche Unfallversicherung (DGUV) (German Statutory Accident Insurance) participated in the discussions. This standard applies to the production of practicals, ramps, steps and stairs according to DIN 15920-1 and DIN 15920-2 including stage balustrades for stage surfaces. This standard does not apply to scaffolds used for stage and studio operation according to DIN 4420 and stands in accordance with DIN EN 13200.
This document replaces DIN 15920-11:1978-08 .
