Overview

This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 149-00-04 AA "Beleuchtungs- und Energieverteilungssysteme" ("Lighting and power distribution systems" of DIN Standards Committee Entertainment Technology, Photography and Cinematography (NVBF); representatives of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) were involved in its preparation as members of NA 149-00-04 AA. This standard applies to the use of mobile systems for protective and functional equipotential bonding in special power distribution systems for event and production technology. Equipotential bonding for lightning protection is outside of the scope of this standard. The equipotential bonding systems according to this standard are to be connected to an earthing electrode and to the local earth. This relates to combined equipotential bonding systems that ensure both protective and functional equipotential bonding.
