DIN 1530-1:2017-11

The standard DIN 1530-1 is applicable to ejector pins with cylindrical head for ejection of moulded parts from die-casting, compression and injection moulds. For die-casting moulds, ejector pins are predominantly made of hot-work steel (HWS) and nitrided. For compression moulds and injection moulds, the ejector pins are predominantly made of cold-work steel (CWS) and quenched and tempered. The standard DIN 1530-2 is applicable to ejector pins with cylindrical head for ejection of moulded parts from die-casting, compression and injection moulds. For die-casting moulds, ejector pins are predominantly made of hot-work steel (HWS) and nitrided. For compression moulds and injection moulds, the ejector pins are predominantly made of cold-work steel (CWS) and quenched and tempered. The standard DIN 1530-3 is applicable for shouldered ejector pins with conical head for ejection of moulded parts from die-casting, compression and injection moulds. The standards have been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-03-03 AA "Press-, Spritzgieß-, und Druckgießwerkzeuge" ("Tools for moulding") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
