This consolidated new version of the standard contains all the changes suggested in the Draft Amendment E DIN 14924/A1:2014-08 without any modifications. The Amendment A1 to the standard DIN 14924 was necessary since the limiting material requirement for the exclusive use of full-grain cowhide leather for the protective cover is no longer up-to-date and split cowhide leather is just as suitable.
