Cages for transport of delivery hoses are specifically designed containers serving the fire departments for the ready for use storage, transportation and laying of non-percolating layflat delivery hoses B, C or D with couplings according to DIN 14711. Cage for transport of delivery hoses STK-B can accommodate non-percolating layflat delivery hoses twice B-20-K, cages for transport of delivery hoses STK-C can accommodate non-percolating layflat delivery hoses three times C-42-15-K or three times C-52-15-K. Cage for transport of delivery hose STK-D can accommodate non-percolating layflat delivery hoses twice C-42-15-K or twice C-52-K or three times D-15-K. This document is a consolidated new version of the standard into which all modifications have been incorporated without any modification which were intended with the first draft amendment A1. The following rationale is given for the amendment of standard DIN 14827-1: - the standard is adapted to the current state of the art; - the modifications of the non-percolating layflat delivery hose standard DIN 14811, in particular the newly introduced performance levels are taken into account; - editorial revision with respect to the update of the normative references.
