1.1 This guide covers the considerations for advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) in the mitigation of spilled chemicals and hydrocarbons dissolved into ground and surface waters. 1.2 This guide addresses the application of advanced oxidation alone or in conjunction with other technologies. 1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.
