1.1 This practice covers the selection of test conditions from Practice G53 to be employed for exposure testing of polish-coated paint, related coatings, and materials. This practice covers the basic principles and operating procedures for using fluorescent ultraviolet (UV) and condensation apparatus to simulate the deterioration caused by sunlight and water as rain or dew. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.
