Popular handbook with expanded content

The standardization landscape around water pipes is rapidlly changing: national and European standardization must be harmonized and new structures must be found in some cases. In addition, the sustainability aspect is a relatively new challenge, which is reflected in the standards collected here. For example, the 9th edition of "Water Supply 2" includes a new standard that can be used to determine life cycle costs and thus make more sustainable decisions.

The following await you in the 9th edition of DIN-Taschenbuch 12/2:

• Three new documents
  A correction is now available for DIN EN 681-1 which offers changes to the normative references as well as the content. DIN EN 14525 contains the requirements for cast iron couplings and adapters, and DIN EN 17800 provides information on life cycle costs and life cycle analysis of CO2 emissions from pipe systems.
   
• Seven revised documents
  Important revisions have been made to DIN 2460 on steel pipes and fittings. A number of requirements have been revised and a new annex on cement mortar lining has been added. Parts 1 and 2 of DIN EN 764 on pressure equipment also have a new annex, and important tables have been revised. Other documents, such as DIN EN 545, have also been expanded and supplemented, and significant updates have been made to their content.

DIN-Taschenbuch 12/2 provides an index of standards, draft standards, DVGW guidelines and other technical rules of interest that are not included here, as well as an index of the standards printed in DIN-Taschenbuch 12/1.
