In its 13th edition, this book (in German only) has been greatly popular for many years. It contains 32 documents from the field of measuring devices and measurement procedures in length measuring technology, some of which are new and others which have been updated. This 700-page compendium of standards provides information on dimensions and limit values, requirements, design features and general principles. It explains the procedure for various test procedures such as acceptance and confirmation testing and defines technical delivery conditions.

DIN-Taschenbuch 11/3 was drawn up in cooperation with several standardization subcommittees and working committees, and now contains the thematically arranged standards on measuring devices and measurement procedures. There are a number of updates to the previous edition.

The 13th edition of “Längenprüftechnik 3“ includes:

• 2 revised standards
  DIN EN ISO 10360-5 on acceptance testing and confirmation testing for coordinate measuring systems has been completely revised editorially and contains new symbols as well as modified test parameters and evaluation procedures. DIN EN ISO 14978 on the principles and requirements for GPS measuring equipment now contains new design features for measuring equipment and information on calibration and verification.
   
• 7 newly included standards
  The 13th edition of DIN-Taschenbuch 11/3 presents a number of interesting new standards in the field, including Parts 1 to 3 of DIN EN ISO 21920 on the surface quality of profiles, and Parts 1 and 2 of DIN EN ISO 13385 on design features of requirements for calipers and depth gauges.
