DIN CLC/TS 50625-3-1:2016-04

The European series of standards EN 50625 aims to assist organizations in achieving effective and efficient treatment and disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) in order to prevent pollution and minimize emission. In order to support the European Standard EN 50625-1, which fulfills the requirements of the European Commission Mandate M/518 and thus supports the treatment of WEEE, normative requirements such as target and limit values of analyses are recorded in this Part 3-1 of the EN 50625 series of standards, which is an amendable document. This allows both practical experience and requirements in treatment technologies to be recorded. This Part 3-1 therefore provides general guidance on the specification for de-pollution. This Technical Specification is intended to be used for most types of WEEE, in conjunction with the standard for the treatment of WEEE EN 50625-1. The responsible committee is DKE/K 191 "Umweltschutz und Nachhaltigkeit bei Produkten in der Elektrotechnik, Elektronik, Informationstechnik" ("Environmental protection and sustainability for products in electrotechnics, electronics, information technology") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
