Overview

This Technical Specification defines mechanical, pneumatic and electrical interfaces between a single-arm pantograph and the roof of main line vehicles. In contrast to EN 50206-1 it is assumed that insulators are part of the power supply of the pantograph. The vehicle manufacturer is responsible for the air supply of the pantograph from the roof of the vehicle. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 351.1 "Fahrzeuge" ("Rolling stock") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
