Der Referent ist Oberbauleiter bei der SMV Bauprojektsteuerungsgesellschaft in Berlin. Seine Hauptaufgabengebiete liegen seit ca. 20 Jahren in der Steuerung und Leitung von Großbauvorhaben (u.a. Bundeskanzleramt, Bundesbank Berlin, Hackesches Quartier Berlin, Philippe-Starck-Gebäude Berlin, Herder-Shopping-Center Lübeck und aktuell dem Neubau der Springerzentrale Berlin). Darüber hinaus forscht und lehrt er zu den Themen Bauleitung/Objektüberwachung u.a. an der Uni Berlin und der MSA Münster. Er ist Mitautor des Kompendiums „Der Weg zum Bauwerk“.
