Short description
This standard describes training measures for the qualification of people who are entrusted with working on wet separators. Micro-organisms, e.g. legionella, may be present in the waste gas from wet separators if hygiene conditions are inadequate. These pose a health risk since they can cause infectious diseases if they are inhaled. This standard supports the aim to ensure safe operation of wet separators. An essential element in protecting the environment and employees is the qualification of the personnel entrusted with work on wet separators.
