This standard describes the principles and processes for implementing a construction logistics management system in construction planning and execution. It describes the main process of construction logistics as well as sub-processes for initiation, specialised construction logistics planning, execution preparation, and execution. It can be used for all construction projects, e. g. building construction, civil engineering, traffic routes, tunnelling, civil engineering, energy and hydraulic engineering, as well as for different project dimensions. It also applies to all forms of construction project organisation in planning and execution and is independent of the classification of the client (public, sector-related or private).The standard is aimed in particular at clients and their project partners.
