Overview

Electronic Fee Collection (EFC) systems are subject to several ways of fraud both by users and operators. These security threats have to be met by suitable types of security measures including security requirements specifications. It is therefore recommended that EFC operators or national organizations, such as highway authorities or transport ministries, use the guidelines provided by this Technical Specification to prepare their own EFC/PP. This technical standard is of a more informative than normative nature and it cannot be used without also using ISO/IEC 15408.
