Austrian Standards

Austrian Standards International is the Austrian organization for standardization and innovation.

This standards organization is the publisher of ÖNORM (Austrian Standards) and the ON set of technical rules.

ONR

ON Rules are quickly available normative documents whose development process does not have to meet all the requirements applicable to a “classic” standard. ONR can pave the way to initiating standardization later on.

OVGW

The OVGW Österreichische Vereinigung für das Gas- und Wasserfach (Austrian Gas and Water Association) has been supporting the aim of state-of-the-art supply since the 19th century. It represents the interests of its members from both the gas and water industries and ensures uniform, recognized guidelines with its collection of rules.

OVE

The OVE Österreichischer Verband für Elektrotechnik (Austrian Electrotechnical Association) connects companies and institutions as well as experts and stakeholders from the entire field of electrical engineering.

ÖWAV

The ÖWAV Österreichische Wasser- und Abfallwirtschaftsverband (Austrian Water and Waste Management Association) has been representing the entirety of water and waste management in Austria since 1909. The most essential tasks of the association include the preparation of the ÖWAV collection of rules by working committees.

ÖAL

The ÖAL Österreichische Arbeitsring für Lärmbekämpfung (Austrian Working Group for Noise Abatement) was founded in 1958 as a section of the Austrian Working Group for Public Health (ÖAV). The results of ÖAL's work are documented and distributed in the form of guidelines. These guidelines are to be understood as supplements to legal and normative rules.

ÖKL

The ÖKL Österreichische Kuratorium für Landtechnik und Landentwicklung (Austrian Board of Trustees for Agricultural Engineering and Rural Development) is a non-profit association founded in 1947. The ÖKL-Merkblätter are widely recognized, technically-oriented documents with standard character in Austria and are developed in expert working groups.
