The presented standard is a detail specification for heat shrinkable components. This standard applies in connection with VG 95343-2 for shrinkable sleevings without inner coating which are used for isolation, jacketing, sealing, bundling and marking of electrical, electronical and mechanical components. Shrinkable sleevings according to this standard are subject to qualification test according to VG 95211. Shrinkable sleevings with inner coating are described in VG 95343-12. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 140-00-02 AA "Wärmeschrumpfende Bauelemente und Isoliermaterialien" ("Heat shrinkable components and insulation material") of DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE).
