This standard has been prepared by Standards Committee NA 140-00-03 AA "Batterien" ("Batteries") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). This standard applies in conjunction with the generic standard VG 95238-2 for the fixing plate for connectors. The fixing plate according to this standard is no separate supply item. It is used with an appropriate battery connector according to VG 96937-3, Type A1 to A4, and the appropriate battery case.
