This standard is a product standard for the field of tools for electrical components. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 140-00-14-07 UA "Crimpwerkzeuge" ("Crimping tools") of DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering. This standard applies in conjunction with the generic standard VG 95236-6. The tools may be used for the installation and removal of contacts for connectors. Tools according to this standard are subject to approval according to VG 95211.
