Overview

This International Standard specifies procedures for the determination of time-weighted average concentrations and equilibrium concentrations of the free dissolved fraction of organic, organometallic and inorganic substances, including metals, in surface water by passive sampling, followed by analysis.
The International Standard on which this standard is based has been prepared by ISO/TC 147/SC 6/WG 6 "Probenahme Trinkwasser" ("Sampling of drinking water"). The responsible German Committee is Working Group NA 119-01-03-01-01 AK "Probenahme" ("Sampling") of Working Committee NA 119-01-03 AA "Wasseruntersuchung" ("Water Analysis") at the NAW. The work has been funded by the Länderfinanzierungsprogramm "Wasser, Boden und Abfall" (federal funding programme "Water, soil and waste").
