DIN EN ISO 21029-2:2016-02

This standard is a revision of DIN EN 1251-3:2000-03. The scope covers operational requirements for transportable vacuum insulated cryogenic vessels of not more than 1 000 l volume designed to operate above atmospheric pressure. The scope includes putting into service, filling, withdrawal, transport within the location, storage, maintenance, periodic inspection, and emergency procedures. For the transportation of these vessels by public road, rail, sea or air, other additional requirements can apply; these are defined in specific regulations. ISO 21029-2, the scope of which is identical, will be revised considering the contents of both standards and the two standards will be combined. This standard is intended to be referenced under the regulations for the transport of dangerous goods on land (RID/ADR). Prior to the application of this document, compliance with the requirements of other regulations, in particular regarding occupational health and safety, shall be checked.
