This test can be carried out before and after accelerated ageing. This method is applicable for all types of elastic material used on footwear. The standard addresses shoe manufacturers and testing laboratories. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 062-04-52 AA "Schuhe" ("Footwear") at DIN.
