This part of IEC 62379 specifies such aspects that are specific to the use of the block structure defined in IEC 62379-1 and serve to standardize the collection procedure for audio and video parameters for use by the European Broadcasting Union Expert Communities Networks - IP Measurements (EBU ECN-IPM) Group. The responsible committee is DKE/K 742 "Audio-, Video- und Multimediasysteme, -geäte und -komponenten" ("Audio, video and multimedia systems, equipment and components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
