This document specifies requirements for metallic, non-metallic and composite cable ties and their associated fixing devices used for the management and support of wiring systems in electrical installations. Compared to DIN EN 62275 (VDE 0604-201):2010-07, the following modifications have been made: a) there are no longer voltage limits for cable ties; b) more hygroscopic material properties have more been taken into account; c) cable ties with parallel tape entry or with a polymer coating are taken into account; d) tests of UV resistance and corrosion resistance have been revised. The responsible committee is Subcommittee DKE/UK 543.2 "Führungssysteme für Kabel und Leitungen" ("Cable management") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
