Overview

This standard specifies dimensions, requirements and tests for coaxial RF connectors of type SBMA. These connectors have a characteristic impedance of 50 Ohm and can be used up to a frequency of 28 GHz. They are usually used in module connections in communication, antenna and radar systems. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 412.4 "Passive HF- und Mikrowellenbauelemente" ("RF and microwave passive components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
