Overview

This standard contains information and rules for the preparation of detail specifications for TNCA series RF coaxial connectors as well as blank detail specifications. TNCA series RF coaxial connectors with characteristic impedance of 50 Ohm and with threaded coupling and operating frequency limit up to 18 GHz connecting with coaxial cables or micro-strips are used in wireless, communication, instrument, antenna, test and measurements, radar, and other fields. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 412.4 "Passive HF- und Mikrowellenbauelemente" ("RF and microwave passive components") of the German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies of DIN and VDE.
