This European Standard defines the requirements for the ordering, manufacture, testing, inspection and delivery of titanium and titanium alloy plate, sheet and strip. It shall be applied when referred to or in conjunction with the EN material standard unless otherwise specified on the drawing, order or inspection schedule. The standard EN 4800-001:2010 has been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Metallic Materials, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-01-02 AA "Titan" ("Titanium") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN.
