The standard EN 4656 specifies the requirements relating to steel FE-PM1507 (X1CrNiMoAlTi12-11-2), vacuum induction melted and consumable electrode remelted, solution treated and precipitation treated, bars, a or d ≤ 200 mm and Rm ≥ 1 520 MPa for aerospace applications. The standard EN 4656:2010 has been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Metallic Materials, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-01-01 AA "Stähle" ("Steels") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN.
