The EN 4165 series of standards describes electrical rectangular connectors in modular design for an operating temperature of 175 °C, continuous, for use in the aerospace industry. The new edition of DIN EN 4165-025 specifies single module receptacles used in the rectangular connector family. The plug corresponding to this receptacle is defined in EN 4165-024. Accessories and protective cover corresponding to those plugs are defined in EN 4165-026. The cavity of this connector is uncoded and coded modules N, A, B, C and D defined in EN 4165-002 can be used. The standard differs from the previous edition DIN EN 4165-025:2012-03 as follows: a) update of the normative references; b)uUpdate of Figures 1 to 12; c) deletion of the figures for coding J to R. The standards of the EN 4165 series are prepared by the ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrotechnology, with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) has been declared responsible by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for preparing European Standards (EN) for the field of aerospace. The responsible German standardization body is Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Elektrische Verbindungselemente" ("Electrical Connectors") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
