This standard specifies the characteristics of two lug, reduced series, counterbored floating anchor nuts, with a self-locking feature achieved by forming the upper portion out-of-round, in heat resisting steel, MoS2 lubricated. Classification: 1 100 MPa/315 °C. The standard EN 3435:2010 has been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Mechanics, with the participation of German experts of Aerospace Standards Committee. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente" ("Aerospace fasteners") of Aerospace Standards Committee.
