DIN EN 3155-082:2016-01

The standards of the EN 3155 series describe electrical contacts for use in aerospace connectors. Part 082 defines the requirements, tests and tools for female electrical contacts, size 082, type A, crimp, class S, for use in connectors according to EN 3155-002. It shall be used together with EN 3155-001. The associated male contacts are defined in EN 3155-008 and EN 3155-070. The contacts according to this standard are derived from those of SAE-AS39029/57 and intermateable with those of SAE-AS39029/58. The standards of the EN 3155 series are prepared by the ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrotechnology, with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) has been declared responsible by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for preparing European Standards (EN) for the aerospace sector. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Elektrische Verbindungselemente" ("Electrical connectors") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
