Overview
This European Standard EN 10330 specifies the method of measurement of the coercivity of magnetic materials in an open magnetic circuit. It applies to magnetic materials having a coercivity up to 500 kA/m. The revision included additional information and explanations on the procedural principle and the measurement of the coercivity in the standard. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 021-00-07 GA "Elektroblech" ("Electrical steel"), Joint working committee of DIN Standards Committee Iron and Steel (FES) of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
Please get in touch with the relevant contact person at DIN if you have problems understanding the content of the standard or need advice on how to apply it.
