1.1 This test method covers the determination of oxygen in titanium and titanium alloys in mass fractions from 0.01% to 0.5% and the determination of nitrogen in titanium and titanium alloys in mass fractions from 0.003% to 0.11%. 1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
