1.1 This specification covers the quality requirements for cut sizes of glass clad polycarbonate (GCP) for use in buildings as security, detention, hurricane/cyclic wind-resistant, blast and ballistic-resistant glazing applications. 1.2 Optical distortion and the evaluation thereof are not currently within the scope of the standard. Mockups are recommended as a method to evaluate glass. (See Appendix X3 .) 1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard.
