The ASME BPVC Code – by subscription or in the classic paper version

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) develops the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. This association, which has over 140,000 members, develops, reviews and updates standards and technical regulations in the field of mechanical engineering. The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is used to build pressure-controlled equipment worldwide. The Code is indispensable, especially for mechanical and plant engineering companies exporting to the USA. Further users include manufacturing and supplying companies, as well as distributors and operators of

The Code is also available as print copies.

The BPVC can be purchased either as a complete collection or in sections. It comprises 13 sections and two additional packages in the form of "code cases":

The delivery comprises the basic collection and the regular updates of the Code Cases (supplements).

Folders are not supplied with the documents as standard. For Section 2 "Materials", Part A "Ferrous Material Specifications” you will need two folders. For each of the other sections one folder will be sufficient.
