DIN EN 836:2012-07

With the new edition DIN EN 836, the consolidated version DIN EN 836:1997 including Amendments 1 to 3 as well as Amendment 4 from 2011 are made available. With respect to the previous editions, editorial revisions have been made and the normative references have been updated and the entire text has been brought in line with regard to the guidelines in accordance with EN ISO 12100. Furthermore, information on the attachment of fixed guards has been specified in subclause 4.1.2 and a new subclause 4.2.4.3 "Guarding of power driven components" has been incorporated. Furthermore, information on the replacement of critical components has been incorporated and specifications for the declaration of the emission sound pressure level and the sound power level have been incorporated as well as information on marking has been aligned with the wording used in the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 020-00-11-01 UA "Rasenmäher" ("Lawn mowers") at DIN.
