Overview
This standard specifies requirements and tests for dividing ropes in swimming baths which divide areas for swimmers from those areas for non-swimmers. Two types, one which is located on the water and the other which is located above the water surface, are differentiated. Along with information about materials, the standard contains safety specifications regarding the strength of the dividing rope and the dividing rope holder device as well as the design of the surface. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 112-05-01 AA "Schwimmbadanlagen und -geräte" ("Swimmingpool facilities and equipment") of the Sports Equipment Standards Committee.
